Do you have arachnophobia? Well, then you better not move to the Brazilian town of Espírito Santo do Dourado.

Videos have been doing the rounds on social media and it shows the sky filled with spiders, which rain down on unsuspecting people.
A few videos of the phenomenon were captured by Cecilia Juninho Fonseca, who was visiting in the town just north of Rio de Janeiro. According to sources, it’s common to see a sky full of small, black dots as spiders fall from the sky in this region.

Popular Mechanics reports that on humid nights, the spiders weave giant webs spanning wide areas that reaches from tree to tree. In this video, the spiders aren’t actually falling from the sky, they are rather hanging and waiting for prey.
