Rian van Heerden is now fully vaccinated!
The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported that there were 2,106 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hour reporting cycle leading up to Wednesday evening. This pushes the country’s total infections to 2,900,994.
The institute said the latest increase represents a 4.6% positivity rate.

An additional 108 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 87,525.
KwaZulu-Natal recorded the highest increase with 626 new cases.

Rian van Heerden has been pro-vaccine since the beginning of the vaccine roll-out.
Van Heerden has suggested that listeners get vaccinated so that the country can get back to normal life.
