The sound of water falling down a 50m well in Germany is surprisingly mesmerising.

In Bavaria, Germany there is a tourist attraction that is beautiful in its simplicity.
At Kaiserburg Nurnberg, or 'Nuremberg Castle', tourists who take a hike up to the top of the building can watch a strange ritual that involves a deep well, a jug of water, and a few candles.

As the crowd watches, a man pour some water from the jug down the wall. The anticipation in the air is palpable as the tourists wait to hear what the water will sound like once it hits the bottom. When it does, the sounds is as beautiful as waves crashing at sea.
