There are some places on earth that you would just never be able to live.

Whether its the weather, the types of property, the opportunities for work or the attitudes of the people you would be living with, there are several factors that determine where people live. Sometimes, you just prefer living in the city to living in a small rural town.

That's the trend that American researchers have noticed: people aged between 25 and 54 left the small towns they grew up in to find work and financial security in the city. Now, the workforce in these small towns has shrunk significantly.

To remedy this, several small towns are offering working-aged people financial incentives for relocating.

From support with paying off student loans to financing towards a home and even designated plots of land, towns like Marne, Nebraska, and Hamilton are striving to make the choice to move back to the small towns of America much easier.

How much money would it take for you to uproot your life and move to a small town in rural America?
