Earthquake claims 250 lives in Italy

At least 250 people have died following the devastating earthquake in Italy, CNN reported on Friday.
The 6.2-magnitude quake which hit on Wednesday, has reportedly left 368 other people injured.

Although many of the victims were reportedly children, one eight-year-old girl, who endured nearly 17 hours in the rubble, was rescued.
According to the publication, she has undergone surgery and is recovering.
