Celebrity chef, Jenny Morris', parma ham and cream cheese date rolls recipe

Jenny Morris is a renowned South African celebrity chef known as 'The Giggling Gourmet'. Jenny joined us this morning to help convince our very own Dianne Broodryk to eat 'dates'. Jenny shared one of her delicious recipes with us.
We all know that there are some food items that we all just cannot stand to swallow. One of food items for our very own Dianne Broodryk is 'dates'. Dianne just cannot stand to eat anything that contains dates in it.
We asked Jenny to share one of her recipes with us to hopefully convince Dianne that dates aren't that bad.
Parma Hama and Cream Cheese Date Rolls
Makes a tasty snack to pass around at a braai or serve as a salad starter on a bed of rocket and sliced avocado.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
8 slices of Palma Ham
8 rocket leaves
Lay the parma ham down onto a clean flat surface, top each slice with the rocket and a portion of the date and Cream cheese filling, roll up and serve on a bed of rocket.
The Filling:
6 tbls Cream cheese
5 fat juicy dates finely chopped
1 tbls roughly chopped black olives
1 spring onion finely chopped
1 tsp orange zest
2 tbls toasted pine nuts
1 tsp chopped red chilli
Salt and pepper to taste
Stir all the ingredients together and divide into equal portions, shape into fingers and roll up into the sliced parma.
