Come and enjoy a family day with Joost
The ALS Ice Bucket challenge has gone viral throughout the world, in aid of making people aware of this very deadly, and to date incurable disease.
One of our very own legends and rugby hero’s JOOST VAN DER WESTHUIZEN was diagnosed with ALS (also known as MNS) in early 2011. Joost formed the J9 Foundation in aid of those suffering from the same form of fatal illness.
Many people are of the opinion that Joost himself benefits financially from money that events and donations generate for the J9 Foundation. This in fact is not the case. Joost is not a beneficiary of the J9 Foundation, and therefore needs to generate an income for his monthly medical and living expenses on his own.
Joost Events was formed earlier this year, and their sole aim is to put events together to raise money for Joost’s medical expenses.
So come and join this legend and his family on Saturday, 18 October 2014 for “Familie dag met Joost 2014” at Pretoria National Botanical Garden.
Bring your umbrella, camping chairs, sunscreen and sunhats and come and enjoy this fun filled day with your family and Joost………….

0-6 years: Free entry
7-12 years: R50 entry
12+: R250 entry
Gates open at 10h00 and will close at 22h00
