Rian van Heerden from The Complimentary Breakfast stumbled upon a study wherein Dutch and Canadian scientists found that people are generally friendlier and more willing to make compromises at the dining table - in a nutshell, if there is a need to have a difficult conversation, best to do it over dinner.
With that train of thought came the idea that conversation is lacking in South Africa and in order to understand one another in a better light, we as a nation need to talk.
