David Blaine shoots himself in the mouth and it backfires
Escape artist, David Blaine, caught a bullet with his mouth as part of the ABC television special called Beyond Magic. The magician performed the trick but it did not go as planned.
David Blaine, 43, has been performing death-defying tricks for a long time now and to date, these have made him the modern day Houdini.
Before performing the trick, Blaine had himself shot in the chest so that he would be calm for the shot to the mouth. Upon catching the bullet, Blaine's mouth guard shattered.
A piece snapped off and hit the back of his throat, cutting the back of his throat. Blaine was taken to hospital but has insisted that he will still perform the trick on his upcoming live tour.
What has gone through his mind? This is so dangerous!
