MAKING NEW MEMORIES OF JOY
Antoinette is a self employed, single mom of two beautiful young daughters of 6 and 8-years old. They are the centre of her life ... but she is worried about their future. She was diagnosed with an illness, SLE or commonly known as Lupus. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) can cause various symptoms, the most common being joint pains, skin rashes and tiredness. Problems with kidneys and other organs can occur in severe cases. Antoinette's ability to do her job has suffered due to the effects of the illness and with that her ability to financially care for her children. But, what worries her even more is that she doesn't have the energy to do all the things she used to with her daughters. She wants them to remember what she was like before and that life could be fun too. The last thing that she can afford now, is a sea holiday with her children - but she believes, as a family they desperately need time to make new happy memories and to focus on the joy of having love and one-another.
