SPONSORING:  Rennies Travel and Avis Rent-a-Car will donate R25 000,00 to San Michele Home to supply personal necessities and to make their Christmas special.

BACKGROUND: The San Michele Home is a special place for special people. They care for 192 residents, of all ages, who need extra care due to their mental and often physical needs. Many of the residents in this home are dropped off by family members, who seldom or never come to visit. The staff at the home give them all the love and care they know and the festive period is often the most difficult time of year, as many of the residents are just forgotten. The staff, as always do their best, but they have very little funds to cook a special meal and giving even simple gifts is just not possible.
