Good Morning Angels Extra (Ama-Wheelies Golf Day)
Background:
We met our friends at the Ama-Wheelies during "Rian's Love Tour" in Lydenburg in February. They are a group of wheelchair bound people, who refuse to give up. They run their own facility, plant veggies and raise funds - all by themselves for those people in wheelchairs, who have no where else to go. One of them is Moses Mlombo (picture below), whom we first heard of in 2008, when he was paralyzed after falling victim to a robber's bullet. He was in matric at the time and his therapist, Chrisna Godfory contacted us to help Moses with a laptop. This he needed, to finish his matric. Our friends from Spar Lowveld jumped in - and Moses made his matric, by punching his laptop keys with a wooden spoon he clenched between his teeth. Two years later, we heard from Chrisna again, this time to inform us that Moses used that very same laptop to help start a special organisation for quadriplegics in the Lydenburg area, called Ama-Wheelies.
On 1 November they will be hosting a golf day to raise funds in Sabie. Below is all the detail if you would like to support them!

The success of any event lies in the hands of the organizers and donations received. To make this day a great success we request prizes, plus invite your influence finding players and sponsoring a hole!!! We will appreciate any items that can be used at our mini auction or for prizes, like T-shirts, tracksuits, company products or wine and ports. Donations are always welcome. Receipts are obtainable from Ama Wheelies. Please help! The funds raised will be used for development, transport and running costs.
Ama Wheelies is a multi-racial Self-Help Centre that provides suitable accommodation to quadriplegics. A quadriplegic is a person who, due to illness or injury to the spinal cord lost full or partial use of all 4 limbs. Because of our disability, we need physical help 24 hours per day.
