The ALS ice bucket challenge became a social media phenomenon and former Springbok rugby player, Joost van der Westhuizen was challenged by The Complimentary Breakfast.
After the sad passing of a rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen, we are remembering the legend that he was. Braving the cold and dressed up in his diving gear, Joost braved the cold and took part in the ALS ice bucket challenge.
Seated in his chair, a few of his friends dressed him up and prepared him for the cold. Smiling all the way through, Joost took part in a small challenge that had a greater impact to the lives of many.
