Mandoza: Remembering the Kwaito hitmaker

At the young age of just 38-years-old, Kwaito star Mandoza passed away over the weekend after losing his battle to cancer. With a long-standing successful career and a list of hits, Mandoza will be remembered forever.
There is no doubt that Mandoza's biggest hit, Nkalakatha is song that resonates with all South Africans.
A song that united us all, that we all sung along to many times. Whether it be at a party, a celebration, a wedding or at a sport match, it gave us all power.

Another one of Mandoza's hits, was I'm Sorry. The single, which is received a lot of airplay, articulates his inner thoughts about the things he had to go through to get where he is today. Some of the lyrics in the song: I'm Sorry, I did not mean to break your heart, and further adds: "Everybody deserves a second chance."
He also featured on hit songs with a number of well-known South African musicians such as Danny K and Pro.
