Is Rian staying or is he leaving the station?
Jacaranda FM's Programme Manager, Gavin Meiring has asked Rian to remain on The Complimentary Breakfast, but will he?
Last year Rian van Heerden announced his resignation from the breakfast show on Jacaranda FM. After five years of hosting The Complimentary Breakfast, van Heerden decided that it would be time for him to hang up his headphones and move on.
Listeners, fans and colleagues alike were all shocked by the news and since then many have been dreading this day. You could say that your prayers were answered, but don't get too excited too quickly.
Jacaranda FM's Programme Manager, Gavin Meiring joined the show this morning and requested that after much debate they would offer Rian an extension and asked him to stay.
The request came as a shock to van Heerden and has left him somewhat undecided. Take a listen to the big news.
