Seasoned travellers say SA is tops

South African Walter Jackson is the listener of The Complimentary Breakfast who earned the bragging rights to the most “well-travelled listener” having wandered through 133 countries! He ventured through 11 new countries this year hopes to visit at least another 30 by the end of 2015 (list of all 133 below).

Lee Abbamonte is the youngest American to have visited every country in the world, having seen 312 total countries with 193 being sovereign nations listed by the UN.

 

Lee is on a mission to join the Traveller’s Century Club and in order to do so must visit all 324 territories on their list, which includes not only sovereign states but also certain territories, exclaves and island groups.
