Shocking! Dash cam captures cab driver robbery with police car behind
There is no doubt that one of our biggest fears is to be robbed, more so at gun point. One profession that is highly prone to robbery, is that of a cab driver. Innocently waiting for your next customer, you are unaware of who you are allowing into your car at the time.
A cab driver was minding his own business when suddenly his passenger pulled out a gun and held it to his head demanding his money and wallet. In the footage captured by the cab driver's dash camera, you can see the extreme panic of the driver as he nervously searches for the money.
The irony, is that just behind all of this taking place, is a cop in his car. The cop is unaware of what is happening in the car in front of him for quite some time. Eventually the Sheriff comes to his senses and approaches the car.
Thankfully the cab driver was not injured. There have been a few cases where the dash cam has been useful. It seems like having a dash cam mounted in your car is the way to go.
