We were lucky enough to be given the privileged of sharing a morning with a few of the inmates at Kgosi Mampuru II Prison as well as National Commissioner, Zack Modise.
National Commisoner Zach Modise touched on a few issues.
We were also joined by Ansie, an inmate who is serving 8 years in Kgosi Mampuru II Prison. Ansie was involved in fraud.
Along with Ansie, we were joined by Danie and Johannes. Both men are serving sentences for murder. They were brave enough to open up to us.
Two of the female inmates shared with us a few poems and monologues that were heartfelt and moving.
