TCB joins Waterkloof House Preparatory School on a bright first day back at school
Our winner for the school choir competition at the Jacaranda FM SPAR Carols by Candlelight, Waterkloof House Preparatory School brought out all the stops this morning at their first day of school for 2017.
Waterkloof House Preparatory School impressed us with their entry for the Jacaranda FM SPAR Carols by Candlelight school choir competition. They sang their hearts out and in return, as part of their prize, we broadcasted live outside their school this morning.

We had a number of activities planned, but intern Carl was one part of the team that was definitely put to the test. Rian gave intern Carl a number of challenges and the first involved making sandwiches. If there's one thing every child loves, it has to be a great lunch. However, these sandwiches wern't the best of the best. Bovril, cheese and jam, fish paste as well as plain peanut butter made these sandwiches unfavourable.
As for their reactions to the sandwiches?
If that wasn't enough, intern Carl had to prepare a love letter to his dream girlfriend and read it out aloud in front of a the students. Not only was this super embarrassing, but it was part of Carl's initiation challenges. Oh, and as for who the girlfriend might be? Well, none other than Ellie Goulding.
How romantic, right? Now we all know that clearly intern Carl is one for the romance.
There are a number of activities that one participates in when at school, such as athletics. We decided to put our fittest member of the team, Thabiso, to the test. Dressed in his athletics clothing, pumped up and ready for a race, Thabiso went head to head with one of Waterkloof House Preparatory School's fastest athletes in a dashing sprint.
Might we add - it was EPIC!
