Thabiso's wishes for his Grade 1 son
Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
Any parent will tell you that one of the hardest things to do is watch your children put on their little uniforms for the first time as they get ready to be dropped off for the first day of "big school."
Listen to find out how Thabiso's son Jaydon handled getting dropped off this morning for his first day here:
Thabiso's letter to Jaydon:
To Jaydon
You not being my biological child, I’ve had to learn to love you as it didn’t come naturally. I’ve known you for 3 years and it’s like today it kicked in that I am your daddy.
Hearing that you are going to Gr. 1 made me realise that I have been part of your whole school journey. The day you started Gr. RR and now you are in the Big Children School, Gr.1 .
I’m proud of you my son.
I wish you all the best for this year and for the next 12 years that you’ll be in school, educating yourself to be one person that will be happy, and also a being that will leave a legacy, even if you make a difference in one person’s life.
May God richly bless you with all your hearts desires, as I wish you happiness, health, wealth, prosperity and well with this step of many to come in life.
Love,
Thaby
