Janie Bay talks new album and her unexpected addition

#NewMusicFriday has a special guest today, Janie Bay chats to Kriya on the day of her album launch.

One of South Africa's most well-known folk artists Janie Bay is back with new music and a whole new sound.
She releases her brand new studio album called "Miscellany" under her new record label Warner Music South Africa. The sound of the album is something new and different for Janie and shows of that she is very happy to take a risk and show a different side to her music.

Janie is excited for her fans to hear the new material and said, “I just want people to feel, I want them to be able to have one or more songs that they can relate to. I am a singer/songwriter at heart, so I write about my own experiences and those of others. So, I hope the listeners will use my songs to help them go through whatever they are experiencing at the time. ”
