The Late Show joins the world in a show of historic solidarity in honouring Prince

The Late Show joined in as a Prince Song was played by hundreds of Radio Stations at same time on the 5th of May
Radio stations around the world honoured Prince on the 4th of May at 6:07 pm ET (12:07 am on the 5th of May in South Africa) by playing Prince’s recording of “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
The song written by Prince starts with the lyric “It’s been 7 hours and 13 days, since you took your love away.” Making the time the song will be played 7 hours and 13 days, since Princes passing.
The movement was started by a Minneapolis public radio station and the word quickly spread throughout the industry with and radio stations around the world decided to join the movement.
