The Reach for a Dream Foundation planned this amazing day with the help of South African Airways, Mercedes Benz South Africa, and Discovery South Africa.
According to The Good Things Guy, Hamilton opted out of a quick meeting and a hand shake to instead spend quality time with the youngster, getting to know him, showing him around, and even inviting him to watch the qualifying from the Mercedes garage, hanging with Hamilton’s brother and the team.
The second reason that it was a magical weekend for Hamilton was after a great qualifying stage he went on to win his fifth British Grand Prix, equaling the records of greats Jim Clark and Alain Prost.
