Stellenbosch student Maxine Jones (27) has received her doctorate in Food Science from Stellenbosch University, with a research project based entirely on how to make the best quality biltong.
South Africans love biltong, Carla Mackenzie included, so when she heard about the woman who has a PhD in biltong making, she knew she had to chat to her about why biltong of all things.
