Miss SA in attempted hijacking

Miss SA 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel Peters has been involved in an attempted hijacking.
The official Miss SA Twitter account confirmed the news.
The 21-year-old was nearly hijacked outside the Hyde Park Shopping Centre, Miss SA tweeted.
In light of the attempted hijacking incident this evening, @official_missSA can confirm that Demi-Leigh is safe and unharmed.

In another tweet, it confirms Nel Peters, from Sedgefield in the Western Cape managed to escape the entire ordeal unharmed.

They share more details of the ordeal on Facebook.
The shocking incident happened earlier this evening.
