Is there another lion on the loose in Mpumalanga?

Social media is abuzz after a lion escaped.
Yes, again!
The young male lion had been spotted on the R37 Lydenburg Road, just outside Sabie in Mpumalanga.

The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency had been notified.
According to sources, the lion has since been darted and will be transported back to the park.

The last time these animals had escaped from the park was in July last year.
Three lions escaped. A farmer had shot one of the lions dead after it ate his cattle.
SanParks spokesperson William Mabasa says he is not sure where the lion came from, but did not rule out that the animal could have escaped from the park.
