The first tremor was felt in Orkney in the North West earlier today.

The second was felt in parts of Johannesburg this evening.

It comes after an earthquake was registered in Botswana, measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale according to earthquaketrack.com

Johannesburg residents reported doors rattling, lights and windows shaking as the earth below them shook.

Twitter was quick on the mark to say it was God’s way of sending a clear message to President Jacob Zuma following his controversial late night Cabinet reshuffle.
