When the Aussies refuse to call it by its name – cheating
Updated | By The Late Show
Now that was painful to watch - an entire press conference
to say little to nothing at all!
Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland addressed a press conference in Johannesburg about the ball tampering scandal – which in essence is cheating.
In the press conference on Tuesday, Sutherland flat out ignored questions by journalists, refusing to call it what it is, cheating.
South Africans are furious and have taken to Twitter in sheer outrage.
Twitter CSI, cricket professionals and fans of the gentlemen’s game had their say shortly after James Sutherland left the hot seat asking very important questions.
I twice asked James Sutherland if it was cheating. He wouldn’t say either way.. and the last time - a minder stepped in.

Rather revealing that James Sutherland has evaded the simple question of 'is this cheating?' thrice. You can see where Steve Smith learnt to Bob and weave hard questions so effectively. It's the 'Australian way'...

Why can't James Sutherland say the word "cheating"? It shouldn't be that hard James, spit it out!

Australia captain Steve Smith, vice-captain David Warner and opening batsman Cameron Bancroft, the player who doctored the ball with a piece of tape with sand granules will return home before the final test against South Africa.
Sutherland says these are only the preliminary findings.
Further sanctions are expected to be announced after initial findings of the inquiry into the ball-tampering incident which happened in Cape Town during the third Test in Cape Town.
Tim Paine is now the official captain for the fourth and last test to be held in Johannesburg at the weekend.
