Born in the DRC, he is known simply as Master Lolo. He has trained with nunchucks since the age of 19, he was forced to leave the DRC when the ruling party "started targeting karate master, accusing them of being rebels".
Master Lolo is the guardian of patron's who visit Lefty's restuarant in Cape Town and he has become an international sensation after videos of him were placed online.
