The Banting Blondes present: yummy, yummy flapjacks!

Who doesn't love flapjacks? They're enjoyable at any time of day, and we've got a recipe that will satisfy but keep the belly at bay!

Ingredients:

•2 Tbs coconut flour 
•1/4 tsp baking powder 
•1/4 tap salt 
•1 Tbs xylitol 
•2 eggs 
•5 Tbs full cream milk 
•2 Tbs coconut oil or butter 

 

 

Method:

1. In a frying pan on a medium heated stove, melt the butter or coconut oil. Once melted set aside in mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly.

2. Beat the eggs with milk, xylitol, salt coconut oil or melted butter. Make sure butter is not hot or the egg will cook and go scrambled. 

3. Add in the coconut flour and baking powder. Beat until smooth and consistency of pouring cream. Don't worry! Will thicken up when in pan.

4. Place 3 Tbs of mixure into heated nonstick pan.

5. Flip flapjack when small bubbles start to form. Cook until golden brown on both sides and all yummy looking!

And you're done! Easy as that
