95 year old great grandfather comes out as gay
It's never too late to live your truth. In a heartwarming interview, 95 year old Roman Blank decided to come out to his family as a gay man.
He escaped the Holocaust during World War II and moved to America with his wife Ruth, whom he was married to for 67 years. They have two children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Roman spoke to YouTuber Davey Wavey about coming out of the closet at 95. He says he has known since the age of five that he is gay but because of the tragedies that unfolded throughout his life, he has had to live his life as a straight man.
Roman says he would like to find a male companion but because of his age, he doubts he will meet anyone.

He concluded: “I’ll be very honest about it, I don’t need any physical or mental connection. But I want to go to sleep, have somebody close to me, not for any other reason but to be sure that someone cares.”
