The Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss in Southern Africa was established in 1992 with the mission to act to change the lives of children with hearing loss.

Rhandzu Mabunda is 2 years old. She was officially diagnosed with profound hearing loss in both ears after numerous tests, when her parents suspected it since her birth in 2014. 

After evaluation for a cochlear implant, she received the miracle procedure on 29 July 2016, thanks to the support of the Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss.
