Beat the heat this summer with these easy DIY tricks

The heat of summer can be daunting and right now in Gauteng, the temperature is definitely heating up. There's no need to dip your head into an ice-cold bucket of water, just try some of these easy DIY tricks.
Is the heat becoming a problem for you? Are you sweating profusely? Do you feel like sitting in a a swimming pool all day?
Well, all of those questions could be answered if you try some of these easy ways to cool down in this African summer.
1. Put your sheets in your freezer for about 30 minutes before you go to bed.
2. Wrap a wet paper towel around a drink and place it in the freezer. It will be ice-cold in no time!
3. Freeze your fruit for a tasty cooling treat.
4. How about making a DIY air conditioner?
5. Don't forget about your furry friends. Cover your dog with a damp towel to cool them down.
