South African viral sensations team up for chilling 'Hallelujah' cover
Updated | By Lee-Roy Wright
This is one of the best local covers we have ever heard!
It takes a lot to grab the attention of the internet, especially when there is so much to choose from.
However, internet sensations Sais Du Plooy and Lee Berg have both made international headlines for their incredible singing talents, and now they have teamed up for a hauntingly beautiful cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’.
Du Plooy went viral after he recorded himself singing a plea to fellow South Africans from his car, encouraging them to do more in order to make this country a better place for all.
When working together on Sais’ recent musical project, a candid moment of Lee singing and playing the piano was uploaded online, and captured the hearts of the many thousands who saw it.
It seems like these two have found the recipe for creating a viral video!
If this cover doesn't give you goosebumps, we don't know what will.
