A Japanese company is installing something called a vertical sleep pod into their offices...
Napping during your work day is not unheard of in Japan.
Yes, you read right. Due to the high pressure placed on hard-working individuals in the Japanese work force, which even has its own term, 'karoshi' - which means death by overwork, there is a need to take care of one's well-being.

"In order to make it easier for people to get power naps pretty much anywhere, one company has begun installing vertical sleeping pods called ‘Gireaffenap’ in cafes all over the country." (Oddity Central)
In case you were wondering why they chose to have vertical nap pods, here's why.
The concept of sleep pods isn't new, but vertical pods are said to save space and also discourage workers from falling into a deep sleep.
MORE FROM JACARANDA FM
"Each Gireaffenap pod features an alarm system that can be set by the user, as well as support points for the various parts of the body – head, buttocks, calves, and feet, to ensure that the user maintains their upright position when napping. The pods also feature a height adjustment system so that anyone can achieve the perfect posture while using them." (Oddity Central)
