When you think about hacks, you would rarely associate them with costing you money.

That's because we generally associate hacks with ease and frugality.

But it seems sometimes, ease and frugality aren't the only factors that are considered.

A person shared a video of what he does to remove bird poop from his car and we think it doesn't quite fit in with South Africa's economy right now.

In the video, he asked people how old they were when they realised that they could essentially pour dish washing soap over their sprinkling hose pipe to get a foamy soap layer on their cars...

Of course, with our avid water shedding and repairs and maintenance we cannot just be letting the hose run this way. Not to mention the cost of dish soap that is essentially just being poured on the water...

So, in short, it's a no for us...

We are safer taking the car to the car wash.
