Could this parking secret stop people from hitting your car?
Updated | By Jacaranda FM/Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
If you find yourself parking next to someone who's poorly parked, here's a handy tip that might help protect your car from scratches or dents.

How often do you find yourself forced to park next to a car that’s way too close to the line, leaving your own vehicle in a vulnerable spot?
It's like a game of Russian Roulette – who will return first to find an unfortunate scratch on their door?
Well, one driver, clearly fed up with this scenario, seems to have come up with a clever way to ensure the passengers of the neighbouring car don't leave their mark.
It sounds like a solid plan, but does it actually work in practice?
You’d have to test the theory yourself, but this man seems confident in his method, calling it his "parking secret for bad parkers".
However, after watching the video, we couldn’t help but wonder – who’s really the bad parker here?

In case you didn’t notice what we did, here’s what caught our attention.
In the video, the man suggests turning your wheels outward so that if the person in the other car carelessly opens their door, it will hit the tyre instead of your vehicle.
As we watched the video, we noticed something interesting. The silver car, which we assume is the so-called "bad parker", was well within its parking space.
But the black vehicle? It was parked way too close for comfort.
This leads us to believe that the real "bad parker" might actually be the man sharing his so-called parking secret.
