Creating content online has become a big deal for many people who have aspired to gain influence. Sometimes, people search for this status; other times, it comes naturally.

One young woman who has been very open and honest about her favourite beer had her 15 minutes of fame, and it was all worth it. Mary Jane from Cape Town often posts content about her life and has managed to share her love for Africa's most awarded beer, Carling Black Label.

She has been named a 'Carling Darling', a fan who shares their love for the beer online, and even featured in a big fan cover-up where they tested their online fans in a seemingly real-life scenario.

She earned her keep in the world of content creation when she came full circle while having a meal at a Mugg & Bean restaurant.

Recently, she posted a video in which a waiter at Mugg & Bean recognised her and wrote something on her bill. He wrote: "No Black Label", with a smiley face.

Mary Jane and her friend found it hilarious and, of course, it was something of a celebrity moment for her. Getting recognised on the streets of your town over your social media content is a great feat.

It wasn't just a funny affair but one that reminded us of how lighthearted and fun our fellow South Africans are.
