Gambling over who pays for lunch is risky business

That's the thing with gambling, you've got to follow through with the terms of the bet...

You might not think it is a big deal, but paying your part of a shared bill is essential when you go out with a group. It shows integrity and doesn't earn you a reputation as a "free-loader".
Ask friends to raise the stakes, and they might devise a risky gambling game – bank card roulette.
It's a game where friends willingly hand over their bank cards and leave their fate in the hands of the waiter.
The bank card roulette trend first went viral some time ago, but it’s clearly still a favourite among friends looking to add a playful twist to their night out.
Leaving your fate in the hands of a server is a bold move, and one that definitely calls for a well-prepared bank account. If your card gets picked, you’re covering the whole meal, whether you like it or not.
In a video shared on social media, a group of friends decided to play bank card roulette at a restaurant. They placed all their cards on the table and left it to the waitress to choose the payer.
It doesn’t take her long to choose a card, and one thing’s for sure – the unlucky cardholder wasn’t ready for the surprise.
Watch the video below from Instagram.
In the comments, many people speculated that the waitress chose the black bank card because it's often linked to prestige or premium accounts.
While it’s unclear whether he actually ended up paying, his reaction
stole the show. It was hilarious, and judging by the laughter around the
table, his friends were not surprised by his response.
