The coronation ceremony of the new Zulu King happened this weekend at the Royal Palace in Nongoma.

And as thousands joined in to celebrate the new monarch, it was interesting to see one woman share her intentions on a national platform.

All we know is her name is Amelia and she is from Gauteng.

As reporters spoke to the people that attended the ceremony, Amelia was there waiting for her turn.

She wore a white T-shirt and had minimally adorned herself with some traditional beaded jewellery.

As the eNCA reporter introduced her, she came into view sharing that she wasn't sure if the new King would see this interview.

But she wanted to let him know that she wants to be the first white Zulu Queen.

Now that's what we call bold...

We have to hand it to her, if you going to announce your intentions, no better place to do it than on live television.

Her interview was posted to Twitter and many people applauded her for being so gutsy.
