Man gives piggy-back rides in Cape Town's flooded areas

South Africans are always able to find the silver lining no matter the disaster...

There are many things that make us unique as South Africans.
Things that set us apart from the rest. Let's call them, South Africanisms.
One video that really proved this line of thinking was the silver lining behind the floods in the Western Cape.

It showed a man who was allegedly charging people R5 a trip for taking them on his back and carrying them over the flooded pools of water.
The person who videoed it made it humourous and, of course, South Africans took advantage of the opportunity to share their pride.
Because if anything, we are known for our ability to take a negative situation and see the light in it.
