Many would agree that this FIFA World Cup has been one that has confused many.
Besides the fact that many of the favourites underperformed against the underdogs, the emotion and stories associated with the location has also been something of a hot topic.
The Brazil vs Croatia game that took place last week was surprising when Croatia took the win with on penalty kicks.
The response by fans and the media was one of shock. Mostly because Brazil was favoured to win.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, also known as Neymar, was devastated at his team's loss.
So much so that he cried after the game.
What shocked many was the way Croatian player Ivan Perisic's son came through to comfort Neymar.
It was labelled as one of the most heartwarming scenes of the World Cup.
