Taiwan's low Banana Peel car turns heads
Updated | By Jacaranda FM / Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
How low can you go? Apparently, very low according to these car enthusiasts from Taiwan.

There's something special to be said about innovation and mechanics. A man named Lan Dong from Stance Garage, Taiwan, had a unique idea to create the lowest car with his yellow Honda Civic.
Of course, when most people think of low cars, they think of cars like VW Golfs, which are so low that they require the driver to go at less than 10km/hour. But this car is something else; it has no lower body and requires the driver to steer it lying down.
Due to its yellow colour and the illusion of hugging the ground, the car has earned a nickname, the 'Banana Peel'.

The car's sleek design resembles something from a sci-fi movie, as if travelling between the ground and the second half underground. The wheels are so far fitted into the fender that the car glides across the ground.
Of course, this means the car cannot be driven on rough terrain, but that doesn't matter as the vehicle was created for display purposes only for auto exhibitions in Taiwan.
If anything, the car shows us the extent of mechanics, particularly highlighting the passion that comes from being a Honda lover.
