The number one reason not to tell a toddler anything
When you have special news and you realise that it's been shared already.
Have you ever told a kid something and they don't keep it to themselves?
Well, it's not in their nature to keep secrets and we cannot say we blame them.
It is only natural for them to share the information they have, this is why it is not advisable to tell them things or mention things that you want to keep secret.
A perfect example of this was indicated when a daughter shared her pregnancy news with her parents.
Her parents were not at all surprised and this shocked the daughter.
But they quickly reveale that they already know about her happy news. It seems their elder granddaughter who is a toddler shared the news with them before their daughter could.

Moral of the story: If you want something to remain a secret, don't mention it to a toddler or any child for that matter.
