TikTok has become something of an addiction for many people. Once you get roped in, it can be difficult to stop scrolling and even more difficult to stop living vicariously through people's content.

In saying all that, people migrate to these stories because sometimes it is easier to invest your time in other people's drama, instead of your own.

But if you've ever assessed how much time is spent scrolling through content on TikTok, you will know that it is a real time-stealer.

Videos that were short and punchy were used to pull rank on social media, the shorter the video the better. Because people are not interested in waiting to hear the full story, but it seems that has shifted.

Attention span is what they call it. But it seems as TikTok extended their time limits on videos, content creators took full advantage of that.

You can come across videos that last around 5 to 6 minutes, only to realise at the end that the story could've been shorter and way more succinct.

One man who noticed this and used this unique point to his advantage has gained almost 300,000 followers.

'Get To The Point Bro', an account on TikTok summarises long videos on TikTok by dueting with them and his dry humour on the amount of time saved gets us every time.
