When you think about a jewellery heist, you generally think of high-profile thieves pulling off a well-thought-out robbery. 

This image probably results from watching movies like 'The Italian Job' and the 'Oceans' franchise. But the truth is that jewellery heists are extremely scary and have resulted in deaths in the past. 

But not this one...

A rat that made headlines managed to get away with snatching a diamond necklace from a jewellery store. 

We're not sure of his motives considering they usually snatch food, but who knows, perhaps this rat lives a life like Max and his friends from 'The Secret Life of Pets'?

We cannot discount the fact that rats are quite intelligent. Perhaps this rat was trained to steal? 

Who knows?

Not much more information was shared about what happened after the robbery, we would've loved to have known if there was an insurance claim and if it was covered...
