WATCH: Video shows how phones are allegedly smuggled into prison

If this is true, then it is absolutely crazy!

We're fairly used to watching movies or series that show prisoners with cellphones.

And what we gather from these forms of scripted entertainment sources is that they make contacts in the prison and get a phone.

It's all quite relative of being part of an institution where you barter your way around.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise to us that someone has now released a video showing how smartphones are smuggled into prison.

Interestingly enough, it has the same line of thinking when people smuggle things across borders.

In the video, which was shared by Daily Dose of Stem, a Coca-Cola bottle sticker is removed, and the bottle is unscrewed.

Surprisingly, many people commented on the video saying that this is not true.

Some said this used to be a method, but no longer is, while others said that guards are the way the phones get smuggled in (supporting our theory about what we know to happen in mainstream media).

Sheilagabby: "no drinks are allowed ,and everything goes through x-ray.Staff has to have everything scanned and in clear see through bags."

groeiend: "In belgium the jailer brings it into the prison😂"
