Fishing is meant to be a relaxing activity and isn't generally something that causes stress.

But it seems with the wildlife that lurks in the waters in Florida, USA, you have to be prepared for anything.

A video that got us sweating bullets shows a man just having a relaxed day fishing, but things took a turn for the worse when he decided to have a break.

We see the man walk away from the lake and then he peers back and notices an alligator creeping out of the water.

As the man begins to walk faster and then runs, so does the alligator.

It is anything but funny, especially because alligators can run quite fast. According to an online source, they can run between 20 and 30 miles an hour (that's roughly between 32km - 48km per hour).

This was a prime example that as a fisherman, you also need to be a good runner.
