Elf on the Shelf goes sideways
This little girl doesn't seem happy with the Elf on the Shelf...
The Elf on the Shelf ideas have gone into overdrive this year, with many parents going above and beyond with their creativity.
The Elf is a scout who hides in different places (as executed by parents) and does some mischievous things.
According to the Baby Yum Yum blog, "Elf arrives at the beginning of the holidays and returns to the North Pole on Christmas Eve (24th Dec). The elves usually visit for a week but can come at any time during the holidays. We like the week before Christmas because it acts as a countdown too. The elf arrives and then there are 6 countdown days where the kids have to find the elf. The elf does naughty things and goes back on the 24th of Dec."
We found a video of an Elf that did not leave a little girl happy...
In the video, we see a little girl and her brother with blue markings on their face. Supposedly, the Elf drew funny faces on their faces. Of course, it seems that they did the drawing and blamed the Elf.
He's an easy scapegoat during Christmas, but it sure is fun to see how kids interact with the idea of Santa's Elf coming into the home to report who is naughty and who is nice.
