This is what we all should be doing as parents, empowering our kids to do things for themselves.
Parents who raise their kids in a less-than-conventional way always tend to be judged by society.
That's the funny part about parenting, you get judged regardless. So, it's always best to accept your fate and just do what works for your family.
It seems this mother and father have got it right with their boys because they have encouraged them to do things for themselves.

We love how the young boy cleaned up after himself as he worked in the kitchen.
And what was even more impressive for us was how kind and caring he was to his younger brother. Now, this is the type of video we could learn from.
Each time you feel guilty when your toddler complains when they need to do something for themselves, imagine the good that will come from them being independent.
Empowering them to care for themselves from a young age isn't a bad thing, it's a great way to prepare them for their future.
